About this design
Two bears meet across a mountain valley, one rearing up with an open jaw while the other treads the lower ridge. Behind them, jagged peaks rise under a rising sun, pine trees crowd the slopes, and a carved oak-leaf border wraps the whole round scene like the rim of an old hunting medallion. Run this one in walnut and the finished plaque looks like it spent fifty years over a lodge fireplace.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean, predictable cutting. The depth is layered well, so the bears sit forward of the treeline and the mountains fall back into soft shadow without muddy transitions. It comes ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and Fusion 360, and it runs on a CNC router, a 3D printer, or through a relief workflow on a laser engraver. For the cleanest result, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at a 10 percent stepover to pull out the fur, the pine needles, and the leaf scrollwork on the border. Scale it up for a wall panel or down for a coaster-sized plaque. It carves into signs, cabin decor, mantel pieces, and gifts for the outdoor crowd.
