About this design
A bull elk stands guard at the edge of a pine forest, his doe close beside him and two young fawns tucked between them. Behind the family, layered evergreens climb into the shadows, all of it set inside a round rustic frame that looks like a slice cut straight from a log. Carve this one and you get that quiet, still morning feeling, the kind hunters and cabin folks chase.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built to show off depth. The antlers, the soft fur on the fawns, and the receding rows of pines all hold their shadows when the light hits them right, so the finished piece reads with real dimension. The file is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs cleanly on a CNC router or a 3D printer. For wood, I'd rough it with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover to clear the bulk fast, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine antler tines and tree texture. Hardwoods like walnut, maple, or cherry will give you the crispest detail. Use it for lodge wall art, cabin plaques, round signs, or framed wildlife decor.
