A bull elk stands guard at the edge of a pine forest, his doe close beside him and two young fawns tucked between them. Behind the family, layered evergreens climb into the shadows, all of it set inside a round rustic frame that looks like a slice cut straight from a log. For wood, I'd rough it with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover to clear the bulk fast, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine antler tines and tree texture.
