About this design
A mallard settles onto a weathered log at the water's edge, feathers tucked, eyes fixed on the still pond. Cattails lean in from both sides, a single water lily floats below, and a row of pines fades into the far bank. Carve this one and you get that quiet early-morning marsh feeling locked into a single panel of wood.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean cutting. The feather layers, the grain of the log, and the soft ripples on the water all hold their definition once the finish pass runs, so the depth reads from across a room. It is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it works just as well sent to a 3D printer or a laser for engraving. For wood or MDF, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then drop in a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover for the finishing detail. Run it on a hardwood blank, MDF, or acrylic and you have a finished piece for cabin walls, lake house decor, rustic plaques, or a gift any hunter or waterfowl fan will actually hang up.
