About this design
A drake mallard lifts off the water with wings spread wide, the splash still falling beneath him while a distant flock rises over the reeds. You can almost hear the wingbeats. Carved in wood, this scene reads like a moment caught mid-motion, the kind of piece that stops people in a hallway and pulls them in for a closer look.
