Picture a mallard drake dropping into the marsh, wings flared wide, feet reaching for the water as the reeds bend around him. This carve freezes that split second when the bird hits the brakes. Run it in walnut or cherry and the layered feathers catch the light like the real thing, every barb and pinion reading clean across the round recessed frame.
