About this design
Two mallards drop out of the timber, wings cupped, the lead bird already touching the water as rings spread out beneath him. There's a whole flooded woodland behind them, tall trees fading into shadow, the surface mirroring the scene like dark glass. Carve this one and it stops people in the hallway. Any duck hunter who sees it knows exactly what's happening.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean, deep cuts. The feather texture, the rippling water, and the layered forest all sit at different depths, so the finished carve reads with real dimension instead of looking flat. It's ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, ArtCAM, and Carveco, and it runs well on a CNC router. You can also resin print it or run it on a laser for engraved depth work. For the cleanest result, rough it with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent to pull out the fine feathers and the water rings. Scale it up for a fireplace panel or keep it small for a plaque. Hardwoods like walnut, cherry, and maple show the detail beautifully.
This is an instant digital download, so you can be cutting tonight. Commercial use is included, which means you're free to carve these and sell them at shows, in your shop, or straight to the waterfowl crowd. Make a centerpiece for a hunting lodge, a cabin sign, or a gift for the duck hunter who has everything. Add it to your cart and put two mallards on the water.
