That toothy grin gets you every time. This donkey throws his whole head back in a laugh, big silly teeth front and center, wild mane flying, with a little barn, a cactus, and a split-rail fence tucked behind him in the desert dust. Carve it once and watch everyone who walks past it crack a smile. It is pure fun on a wall.
Under the hood this is a high-detail bas-relief STL, sculpted with a hand-carved wood texture so the finished piece reads like something whittled by an old ranch hand. The depth is layered nicely, from the deep set teeth and eyes down to the soft farmyard background, and the toolpaths run clean without fussy artifacts. It is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it works on a CNC router, a laser engraver, or a 3D printer in resin or FDM. For the cleanest result, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at a 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the grin and the grain. Cut it in oak, walnut, maple, or MDF and you have got a piece worth hanging.
