About this design
Some carvings make people stop and laugh out loud. This one does. A big shaggy bison with bug eyes, a curling horn, and the widest toothy grin you have ever seen on an animal. The expression is pure cartoon mischief, all oversized teeth and goofy joy, and once it comes off the machine it practically demands a spot where guests will spot it and chuckle.
Under the humor it is a serious piece of work. This is a high-detail bas-relief STL with deep, layered carving: the matted fur along the hump, the wrinkled snout, the chunky individual teeth, all sitting inside a chiseled frame that reads like hand-gouged wood. The model gives clean toolpaths and holds its shadows well at depth, so the character stays crisp in pine, walnut, or maple. It comes ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs nicely on a CNC router or a 3D printer. For the best surface, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the fur and teeth detail. Turn it into a novelty wall plaque, a cabin sign, a kid's room hanger, or a one-off gift for the buffalo fan in your life.
The file downloads instantly, so you can be cutting tonight. Commercial use is included, which means you are free to carve it, sell the finished pieces at shows, and gift them to whoever needs a good laugh. Grab it, load it, and let the goofy bison grin do the talking.
