About this design
A broody hen tucks her head over a sleepy lamb, and the little one leans right into her like it has found the safest spot in the world. There is real tenderness in this scene. The hen's comb catches the light, every feather lies in its row, and the lamb's wool curls so tight you want to run a thumb across it. Carve this and you get a piece that stops people in the hallway.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean cutting. The depth is layered so the hen reads behind the lamb without muddy transitions, and the texture work (feathers, fleece, the rough timber frame around them) holds up under a fine finish pass. It is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, ArtCAM, and Fusion 360, and it runs nicely on a CNC router, a 3D printer, or a laser engraver set up for relief. For a crisp result, rough it with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at a tight 10 percent stepover to pull out the wool and feather detail. Cut it in walnut, maple, or basswood for wall panels, farmhouse signs, plaques, nursery decor, or a gift for the chicken lover in your life.
The file is an instant digital download, so you can be slicing toolpaths within minutes. Commercial use is included, which means you are free to carve it, sell the finished pieces at your shows and online, or hand one off as a gift. Add it to your library and put it on the spindle this weekend.
