About this design
Several moments from the Gospels gathered into one panel. The Good Shepherd lifts a lost lamb across his shoulders, Jesus reaches out to a kneeling crowd, and quiet figures pray along the lower edge. Carved in warm wood it reads like a stone altar piece, the kind of scene that makes people stop and look closer, then look again.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean, dramatic depth. The composition stacks foreground figures, mid-ground crowds, and a distant hillside so the toolpaths pull real shadow out of the wood. Faces, robe folds, the wool on the sheep, and the rough texture of the rocks all hold their definition once finished. It is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs well on a CNC router or a resin 3D printer. For the cleanest result, rough the surface with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover to clear the bulk fast, then bring it home with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover so the small details stay crisp. Walnut, cherry, maple, and basswood all carve beautifully here, and it scales nicely into church plaques, prayer room art, framed wall pieces, or devotional gifts.
