Two blue tits huddle close on a worn oak branch, beaks almost touching, the way real birds do on a cold morning. Behind them sits a rough slab of bark, soft leaves curl in at the edges, and a few acorns hang in the corner. Carve this one and you get a little moment of stillness, the kind of piece people lean in to look at twice.

Walnut, maple, and cherry all suit this design, and a soft hand-painted finish brings the blue and gold to life.
