About this design
A single eye opens across the panel, lashes sharp, and one heavy tear breaks loose and falls. Below it a small child stretches both arms up, standing on tiptoe to catch what is falling. It is a quiet, gut-level image, the kind of carve people stop and stare at. Run it in a rich walnut and the grain reads like skin and sorrow at the same time.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean cutting. The lashes, the iris, the folds of cloth on the child, and the wet shine of the tear all hold their depth through the toolpaths, so you get crisp shadow lines instead of mush. The file is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, ArtCAM, and Fusion 360, and it runs fine on a CNC router or scales down for a 3D printer. For the cleanest result, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at a 40 percent stepover, then come back and finish with a 3mm ball nose pulled in to roughly 10 percent stepover. That second pass is where the eye really wakes up. Use it for emotional wall art, gallery and studio pieces, symbolic decor, or a one-of-a-kind gift for someone who feels things deeply.
