About this design
Look at the spines fanning off this iguana's neck and you can already feel the carve. A big basking lizard, claws dug into the ground, tail curling back across the panel, every scale and bumpy orange spot raised in clean relief. Done in walnut with a light stain wash, the spikes throw real shadow and the eye seems to track you across the room. This is the kind of piece that stops reptile people in their tracks.
What you get is a high-detail bas-relief STL of the full-body iguana, sculpted with strong depth so the spines, scaled hide, and curved claws all read clearly under a finishing pass. The model is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it cuts well on a CNC router or prints clean on a 3D printer. Scale it up and the texture only gets crisper. For machining, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at a 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine scales and that toothy spinal crest. Hardwood, MDF, or acrylic all hold the detail nicely. Think wall art for a reptile room, a pet shop sign, a gamer den panel, or a one-off gift for the lizard lover in your life.
This is an instant digital download, so you can be cutting tonight. Commercial use is included, which means you are free to carve these, sell the finished pieces, and gift them however you like. Grab the file, drop it into your CAM software, and let the spikes come to life in wood.
