About this design
Half the face belongs to Christ, crowned with thorns and head bowed in quiet sorrow. The other half is the Lion of Judah, mane heavy, eye steady, watching. Where the two meet you get the whole story in one carve: sacrifice on one side, kingship and strength on the other. Hang it in a prayer corner and it stops people mid-sentence.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for real depth. The crown of thorns weaves with crisp undercuts, the beard and the mane flow in long carved strands, and the recessed background pushes the faces forward so the shadows do the heavy lifting. The file is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs clean on a CNC router or a 3D printer. For the best surface, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine grain in the hair and the texture across the lion's nose. Walnut, maple, and basswood all carve beautifully here. Use it for Christian wall plaques, church and prayer room decor, Easter displays, or a faith gift someone will keep for years.
