About this design
Two faces of faith share one panel here. On the left, Christ in profile under the crown of thorns, calm and weathered. On the right, the Lion of Judah mid-roar, every strand of mane standing proud. A radiant cross rises between them, and at the foot of the scene a small family stands facing the light. It is the kind of carve that stops people in a hallway and holds them there.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for deep, dramatic shadow. The layering reads beautifully once it comes off the machine, from the soft folds of cloud at the base to the sharp teeth and furrowed brow up top. It is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs clean on a CNC router or a 3D printer. For best results, rough the panel with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine work in the beard, the mane, and the woven thorns. Carve it in oak or walnut and you have a wall plaque, a church piece, a prayer room centerpiece, or a heartfelt gift.
